We will be moving to the Lund/Malmö area in Sweden in the Fall of 2018, where I will be starting to work as a researcher in the physics department at the University of Lund on October 1st.
We are looking for an apartment or townhouse with living room, bed room, kitchen and bath room, and possibly one extra room, in the Lund/Malmö area. Our rental budget should be at around SEK 10000 to 11000, and we are happy to also consider living a bit further outside, in the surrounding villages, as long as public transportation is available.
We are both from Germany, but we have lived in the US for the last two-and-a-half years, in Tallahassee, Florida, where I am currently employed a physics a researcher at FSU. My wife has a bachelors degree in social work and worked as a social worker in Germany before moving to the US, where she now works as a German teacher as well as in child care and education.
The University of Lund will be able to issue a proof of employment for me. Other personal recommendations, from current and previous employers and land lords, will be available as well.
We appreciate any help in finding a place to live!
